Ever wished you could send clients multiple projects via a single link? Well...we're excited to share this new feature (we're always excited)!
We've just made it easier than ever to share Projects the same way you share a canvas - with just one link - but with more control over who can access them.
What are Shareable Projects?
Shareable Projects allow teams to share multiple website review canvases through a single secure link. Instead of sending individual links for every page or design, agencies and marketing teams can centralize feedback and simplify the review experience for clients and stakeholders.
This makes Shareable Projects especially useful for larger website projects involving multiple pages, revisions, and reviewers.
Why Shareable Website Review Projects Matter
Website reviews often involve many assets and stakeholders. Without a centralized review process, feedback can become fragmented across emails, spreadsheets, and messaging tools.
Shareable Projects help teams organize feedback in one place, making it easier to manage reviews, track progress, and keep stakeholders aligned throughout the project lifecycle. Teams that use effective client feedback workflows can significantly reduce confusion and accelerate project delivery.
Shareable Projects in Pastel
Folders have been renamed to Projects.
Projects can be accessed in three ways:
Team Projects:
- Are viewable by all team users. Team members have access to all Team and Public Projects.
- Team members are able to set passwords for Projects.
- Team members can transfer canvases between Projects.
Public Projects:
- Are accessible to non-team users, like clients and guests, only with the secure link shared with them.
- Users have the option to add a password for Public Projects.
- If you share a project link with a password, guests will be directed to a page where they’ll have to enter the password.
Private Projects:
- Are viewable only by the Project owner.
- If you are the Project owner, you can make a Project private and only accessible to yourself through the "Share Project" modal.
- Team members cannot make other users' Projects private to themselves.
Managing Secure Client Collaboration
To add additional security, you can create password protected Public Projects directly from the "Share Project" modal by selecting Set up secure password.
While logged in, team members will not need to enter passwords to access protected Projects. Guests, however, will need both the project link and password to gain access, making it easier to securely collaborate with external stakeholders.
For teams managing client reviews, combining Shareable Projects with private replies allows internal discussions to stay hidden while maintaining a seamless client experience.
